Gary grew up in the Colorado Mountains and graduated from CU Boulder in Electronics Engineering. The part time pursuit of photography led to several Ansel Adams workshops and a new career after graduating from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.

Clients have included : American and Continental Airlines, Sony / Columbia, QWest, Hines, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Chase, Boeing, Compaq, Saab, Mead, Northrup, Xerox, Red Lobster Restaurants, and Lay's.

Award work has appeared in CA, Graphis, Print, PDN, and the New York, Dallas and Houston Art Director's Shows. Through the years his work has also appeared in numerous one person exhibitions, corporate and private collections.
